CARMEL CHAIR
Carmel Chair is a modular chair made from walnut wood with a fabric-upholstered seat.
The design reduces the chair to two primary elements that interlock to form a stable and comfortable structure. This formal simplicity emphasizes the relationship between the individual components and the assembled object.
The project explores the intersection of traditional furniture making and contemporary modular design. The use of solid walnut reflects the material language of classic furniture, while the disassembled construction references the logic of flat-pack products and user assembly.
